COOKIE POLICY

Our cookie policy

It is important that you know what personal data is collected from you and how we use it. The party responsible for data processing is Goodlive Festival GmbH, Henriettenstr. 16-18, 09112 Chemnitz as the organizer of the festival (collectively referred to as "we", "us").

When you visit one of our websites or a mobile app or interact with our digital services, we use cookies and other tracking technologies (collectively, "Online Technologies"). This policy describes how we use Online Technologies, what types of Online Technologies are used and what choices and rights you have in relation to your preferences. You can find more information about how we use your personal data in our Privacy Policy.

Online technologies

We and our third parties use online technologies to provide a more user-friendly experience. These online technologies may include cookies, pixels or web beacons or tags, scripts, SDKs and tags. A cookie is a data file that your browser places on your device that contains information about your online activities, pixels or web beacons or tags are pixel graphics or tags that track web traffic, conversions and user behavior, web beacons are scripts that run on the website and collect information about user behavior, SDKs (Software Development Kits) are a set of tools for the operating system that enable tracking and functionality.

Online technologies are either first party (i.e. managed by Live Nation Entertainment) or third party (developed by external parties). How long a cookie is stored on your computer depends on whether it is a persistent or session cookie. Session cookies are temporary, lasting until you leave the website or close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until you have finished browsing the internet, until they expire or are deleted (in the settings of your device/browser); these retention periods are shown when the cookie is displayed in the settings menu.

Categorizing online technologies

Online technologies can be divided into the following five groups:

Strictly necessary: these are necessary for the proper functioning of the website and enable technical functions and the provision of services requested by you. For example, setting country and language options, keeping you logged in during your visit, security and fraud prevention. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled and do not require consent.

Performance: These cookies help us track visits and traffic to our websites so that we can evaluate and optimize the performance of our websites. These tracking technologies collect information that is aggregated.

Functional: These cookies enable optimized functionality and individual design of the website. They may be set by us or by our third parties whose services we have included on our pages. If you do not allow these cookies, some or all of our services may not work properly.

Advertising and targeting: These may be either our cookies or those of third parties to learn more about your interests, including the products and services you are interested in or have already ordered on one of our websites or apps. We and our partners use this information to provide you with tailored advertising and product recommendations based on your interests and behavior. If you do not accept these technologies, you will receive less targeted advertising messages from us and our third parties.

Social: These may be used to allow you to share our content with your friends and networks. They are able to track your browser across other websites and build a profile of your interests. This may affect the content and messages you see on other websites you visit. If you do not allow these technologies, you may not be able to use or see these sharing tools.

For more information and to decide which type of providers and which category of online technologies you wish to use, please refer to the cookie setting, which can be found on all our websites and apps under "Manage my cookies".

Management of online technologies on our website and apps

Cookie settings

When you first visit one of our websites or apps, depending on your location, you can either "accept" that we use online technologies or you can manage your preferences at the category or provider level by selecting the "Cookie settings" option. Alternatively, you can also reject all online technologies.

If you refuse your consent, no cookies will be placed on your device. Only the "strictly necessary" cookies will remain activated.

You can update and manage your cookie settings at any time by accessing the "Manage my cookies" link in the footer of one of our websites or in our apps.

Browser settings

In addition to our cookie settings, most browsers allow you to manage your cookie settings, for example by notifying you when you receive a new cookie or by disabling cookies completely. If you decide to disable or delete cookies altogether, some websites will no longer work properly as they rely on online technologies.

If you do not want to allow us and third parties to use online technologies in our emails, such as pixel tags, it is recommended that you do not enable images when viewing our emails. In other words, only view the plain text of the email. Some internet browsers and email accounts, such as Gmail, have settings or extensions to disable/block such cookies.

Choosing the ads

If you see an Ad Choices icon on an advertisement, whether from us or a third party, you can follow the link to learn more about behavioral advertising practices by visiting www.youronlinechoices.eu..

The Digital Advertising Alliance also provides a tool to opt out of the collection of cross-app data on a mobile device for interest-based advertising. Download the AppChoices app here to exercise choices for companies participating in this tool.
