<p>A veteran of the U.K. grime scene, Skepta is one of the most internationally recognized British hip-hop figures. The MC, producer, and record-label owner was influential in grime&#39;s shift from the underground to the pop charts during the 2000s, thanks in part to the sucess of his Boy Better Know collective, as well as its resurgence during the mid-2010s. With the release of his fourth album, 2016&#39;s Konnichiwa, Skepta made his commercial and critical breakthrough, winning that year&#39;s Mercury Prize and earning gold certification. 2019&#39;s Ignorance Is Bliss fared just as well on the U.K. charts, and 2020&#39;s Insomnia, with Chip and Young Adz, reached number three. He expanded his scope and audience through collaborations with J Balvin, Kid Cudi, Playboi Carti, and numerous others. In 2023, Skepta and fellow Boy Better Know member Jammer formed the house label M&aacute;s Tiempo and began releasing dance tracks, including several collaborations as well as Skepta&#39;s Amy Winehouse-sampling &quot;Can&#39;t Play Myself.&quot;</p>

<p>Aroma Pitch, a Berlin-based electronic music trio, blends classical drumming and jazz piano influences into their sophisticated rhythms and multi-layered chords. Their mix of pulsating techno, synthesized disco, raw house, and international grooves offers a continual mood of surprise and discovery. They&#39;ve released five EPs on their own label APR and, since 2021, on Munich-based label Public Possession, including their debut album &#39;Interlife&#39;. As resident DJs and co-curators of the event series Cologne Sessions since 2011, they bring together music lovers at JAKI to experience new rhythms and sounds presented by renowned international artists and local heroes from NRW. <p>Bitter Babe is a multidisciplinary artist and DJ who hails from Bogot&aacute;, Colombia. Now based in Miami, Bitter Babe has been a key player and part of the new school of artists shaken up the city and putting it on the international sight, alongside artists like INVT, Coffintext, and friend + collaborator Nick Le&oacute;n with whom has co-produce 2 EP&rsquo;s, Fuego Clandestino on Tratratrax and Delirio on Club Romantico, as well as participate on Air Texture&rsquo;s compilation curated by Anthony Naples and Dj Python.</p>

<p>Nick Le&oacute;n&rsquo;s dystopian club music samples the sounds of Florida&rsquo;s diverse ecosystem, but his style has varied fearlessly along the way. Finding his way into the rap world at a young age, he collaborated with some of the biggest underground rappers in South Florida. He also gravitated early towards the Latin sounds coming out of Puerto Rico and Colombia, and as a self-taught producer and DJ in Miami, he felt compelled to shift his focus to his own work. After pivoting towards textural elements and buried melodies, Nick released a handful of projects, one of them being his Aguacero EP under Mexico&rsquo;s celebrated NAAFI imprint.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Simon Green aka Bonobo is one of the biggest names in dance music. He is also a favorite mainstage performer at the world&rsquo;s greatest music festivals and has worked with Erykah Badu, &Oacute;lafur Arnalds and Jon Hopkins, and remixed artists including Michael Kiwanuka, Gorillaz, George Fitzgerald and London Grammar. His current album <em>Fragments</em> is the most emotionally intense record that Bonobo has ever had to make. It&rsquo;s no surprise that it&rsquo;s also his masterpiece.
