Marissa Malik, best known by her stage name Manuka Honey, is a multi-disciplinary artist and DJ at the forefront of Latinx-infused club music coming out of the UK. US-born and London-based, Manuka’s adoration of the Latinx diaspora’s sounds is exuded by her beautifully chaotic DJ sets that have pummeled the sound systems of clubs and festivals internationally, as well as sets on Boiler Room and Keep Hush. Her productions and remixes have earned her a rightful space amongst the catalogs of NAAFI, Promesses, Daytimers and YCO; catching the ears of critics and garnering support from club heavyweights alike. Mirroring her party-starting prowess behind the decks, her debut EP “Industrial Princess”, released May 2021, deftly captures the broad pallet of an artist that is tuned into the global underground, capable of articulating her influences into a mystic concoction of all that she admires.
