Melt! Booking 2012: Foster the People, Chairlift, WU LYF
The year is coming to a close. Smashing gigs and parties are behind us. Yet, we don’t waste time on nostalgic retrospectives. 2012 is almost here. We don’t know exactly what’s going to happen, but we can promise you this: it’s going to be a fantastic year filled with Melt! Booking gigs galore.
Foster the People are back. In 2010, they brought us their uberhit “Pumped Up Kicks”, earlier this year, the band released its debut album Torches, in May 2012, they will be performing three gigs in Germany. Chairlift is one hell of a band from Brooklyn we are very proud to have on board for next year. After a three-year hiatus, the electro pop duo released a sensational single this summer called “Amanaemonesia”. With New Wave influence, bombastic synth sound and Caroline Polacheck’s magical vocals, they announced their second album called Something (due for release on 24.01.) after their 2008 debut Does You Inspire You. Last but not least, WU LYF from Manchester will be back in Germany for an exclusive gig in Berlin in March.
