Neon Indian: two exclusive gigs in Germany
Neon Indian is back with a new album and two performances in Germany. It’s been two years since the release of his debut Psychic Chasms. Back then, the 20-year-old Alan Palomo played around with spherically jumping synth sounds creating a gateway between psychedelic and quirky Nintendo sounds. As of today, Neon Indian’s second album Era Extraña is in stores, which he recorded during solstice in Finland’s capital Helsinki. "It's the closest you can get to feeling like you're at the edge of the earth," he says. "And there were moments where I lost sight of what I was really there to do." His new album reflects these nature-induced emotions perfectly. His playful psychedelic tracks made way for droning soundscapes grazing both shoegaze and dream pop.
You will get a chance to experience one of the Texan’s exlusive live shows in Berlin and Munich. Tickets are available at all well-known ticket shops. Check out the video for his current single "Polish Girl“ as a little teaser.
