Twin Sister: sophisticated pop song structures
The wonderful Twin Sister just released their debut In Heaven album this September. The combo from New York presents us with an album that is full of mesmerising contradictions: melancholy meets playful arrangements, high production values meet lo-fi and sophisticated beats meet minimalist instrumentation. Front woman Andrea Estella’s vocals weaves through the entire album of pop songs and spherical electronics like a golden thread.
