For the second time, we will host our new concert series Certain People at Berghain. Our monthly party, co-hosted by Melt! Booking and Berghain, features Darkstar, Wild Beasts as well as Butterclock & o F F.
With their debut album North released via Hyperdub earlier this year, production duo Darkstar was living proof of the new, exciting sounds that Dubstep had to offer for the pop mainstream. Wild Beasts are already one step ahead. Their third album proves that they’re playing in a league of their own. There’s no other English band capable of writing such beautiful, artful and opulent guitar pop music. Butterclock and fellow Frenchman o F F will be the first to conquer the stage tonight. Their musical approach comes with heavy and dark hypnotic pop elements, combined with slowed down hip hop beats.
