FAQ / Camping and Accommodation

Attention:  camping on the festival camping site is only allowed with a valid festival ticket!!!

Camping & parking: 

Camping site opens on Thursday, 12th July 2012 at 01:00pm

Site closes on 16th July 2012 at 01:00pm

Camping and parking is included in the price of the ticket. 

 

Access to the festival site and parking areas:

If the visitor has the right to park on the festival area, he does this at his own risk in particular in the case of the parking areas in the official fields. Damage to the undercarriage could take place. All liabilities for such damage are excluded. The promoter is not lieable for any damage or theft.

Caravans & Campers
A special parking are is provided for campers and caravans. Pitching up tents is STRICTLY PROHIBITED there. Open fires are prohibited as well. Like on our camping site, BBQ grills are allowed. No cars are allowed on any camping site. Please follow security orders, otherwise we'll have to forcably move your vehicle.

Also, choose your camping area wisely without hindering the ambulance's escape route.

If you arrive with a camper or a caravan, we cannot guarantee you a parking space. Therefore we suggest you arrive on Thursday.

 

Sanitary facilities:

open nonstop from Thursday 1:00 PM to Monday 1:00 PM 

Showers: EUR 1,50

water closets: EUR 0,50

portable loos: free

 

For security reasons and to protect the environment, parking will no longer be allowed right next to the camping areas. The only exception will be for camping busses (vehicles with fixed living interiors) which will receive a special area. Camping on this area is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. If this is ignored, the space will be rebuked. We would appreciate your understanding of this.

 

Please be cautious of the escape routes for the ambulances while choosing a camping spot. Security will ensure that the available space is efficiently used.

 

Cooking on the camping sites:

Cooking with functioning gas cookers is only allowed outdoors. Open fire on the camping sites is completely forbidden! Security are allowed to confiscate gas bottles on the camping sites without warning if they establish there is improper usage of the objects as well as leading to open fire. This applies to all visitors.

 

Security:

The parking areas will be looked after all day and night by security. An independent company who are in contact with the police will take care of the security at the camping sites. If a problem does occur please speak to security immediately.

If you don't want to travel all the way to Ferropolis with all your equipment, simply buy it on location.
