Four Tet

Kieran Hebden did everything right on his fifth album: „There Is Love In You“ left everyone behind gaping and listening.  He got everyone onto the dancefloor with the single „Love Cry“ and did it in an organic, electronic, and harmonic way. With „Plastic People“, he invited everyone to the Dubstep basement. Or, how Pitchfork phrased it so accurately: „Hebden’s music is intellectual and physical at the same time, subtle but powerful – ideally to think and dance at the same time.“ Isn’t that about the nicest thing you ever heard about sophisticated Electronic music? It definitely is. We couldn’t say it better ourselves.
