Our line-up just got a little bigger! After having announced Disclosure, Jamie xx and Deichkind, more smashing high-calibre acts have now been confirmed to travel to Ferropolis this summer!
With their latest album Currents, Tame Impala left 60s aesthetics and psychedelics behind in exchange for the synth-y 80s concoctions. Like Disclosure, they’re currently selling out shows across the globe. This summer, you’ll get another chance to see the boys from Down Under live. Prepare for plenty of wah-wah, synth washes and reverb galore. You only need to look at Jean-Michel Jarre‘s latest collaborations with Gesaffelstein, M83, Boys Noize and Jeff Mills, to see how close the producer legend is to Melt! Festival. This year, he’ll celebrate his Ferropolis premiere at a Germany exclusive gig. Alongside other first-timers like Andy C, Mind Against, Oddisee & Good Company, Pan-Pot and Stephan Bodzin, we’ll reunite with The Black Madonna, Digitalism, Floating Points, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Tiga (live on stage for the first time).
Helena Hauff,Horse Meat Disco and Kim Ann Foxman will cater to the dancing crowd drawing from the entire genre spectrum behind the decks. Melt! wouldn’t be Melt! without its variety of up-and-comers like Drangsal, Graham Candy, Kytes, Lea Porcelain, Bob Moses and many more.
To find out, who’ll join Modeselektor behind the Melt!Selektor DJ booth and join the Sleepless Floor line-up, you’ll have to be patient for a little while. Our next announcement will be coming soon.

It’s been two weeks already? Two weeks since we danced under the disco balls of Ferropolis and made Melt! 2015 one of the most magical events of the year? Indeed, all disco balls have been stored away, and like the crane giants, are waiting patiently until our return next year. With our aftermovie, we want to take a last look back at Melt! Festival’s glitz and glamour.
After our feedback round at our open stage with Melt! booker Stefan Lehmkuhl, we want to know about your ultimate 2015 highlights and what you wish for our next edition from 15 to 17 July 2016.
Visit our Facebook page, leave a comment with your five 2015 highlights and your must-sees for 2016. Among all comments, we give away 3×2 tickets to Melt! 2016. Good luck! We’re looking forward to your comments.
What an incredible weekend! More than ever, Melt! Festival 2015 lived up to its reputation of breaking with expecations and uniting a line-up in Ferropolis that defies genre and country borders. Half of you travelled to Ferropolis from abroad to celebrate the 3-day event’s equally international line-up. With Kylie Minogue, one true pop icon conquered the main stage at this year’s Melt! Festival. You welcomed the Australian singer with frenetic »Kylie« chants who in return enthralled us all with her classics and a special rendition of the German song »99 Luftballons«. With Italo Disco mastermind, Giorgio Moroder, techno legend Sven Väth, showgaze heroes Ride and hit machine Trevor Horn, true music legends took the stages in the City of Iron. Top-class acts like Alt-J, London Grammar, Flume, Jamie xx, Jon Hopkins, Bonobo and Django Django also lured the crowds to the stages in Ferropolis. The German-speaking indie and rock part was well covered with bands such as Element of Crime, Tocotronic, Bilderbuch, AnnenMayKantereit and Wanda. In our new Open Stage Area at Camping North, every festival-goer could show their talents on stage for the first time, alongside a performance by Erlend Øye, a book reading with Jan Müller and Martin Hossbach as well as yoga for breakfast. The Playground at the festival site also kept the crowd on their toes with the Sneaker Freaker Block Party, the Einraumdisco and more taking over the area around the sandbox. At our final feedback round on our Open Stage, you had the chance to talk to our Head of Booking, Stefan Lehmkuhl, about your festival exprience. The successfully introduced cashless payment system was also amongst the topics discussed. In 2016, Lehmkuhl announced, the programme will, once again, be full of surprises with directional changes happening next year. Melt! Festival wants to thank the entire Melt! crowd for the incredible support this year. We can’t wait to see you all again for our next edition from 15 – 17 July 2016.
Until then, enjoy our photo galleries on our website and take a look back at a selection of main stage performances recorded by the good people of Arte Concert. More video footage of 2015 will follow very soon! See you next year! Your Melt! team
